Support day-to-day HR operations, including
payroll and benefits management.
Prepare and review compensation and benefits
packages; administer health and life
insurance programs.
Review employee timecards,
coordinate/approve payroll, review/approve
PTO requests and reimbursements; and resolve
discrepancies.
Manage employee recruitment including job
postings, candidate identification, vetting,
screening, interviewing, and conducting
references and background checks.
Update employee records with new hire
information and/or changes in employment
status.
Develop, implement, and plan employee
performance review program.
Manage employee relations and resolve
personnel issues.
Manage, maintain, and update company
on-boarding/off-boarding procedures and
conduct/coordinate new hire orientation &
training sessions.
Manage subcontractor agreements and update
as needed to ensure compliance with federal
and state requirements.
Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in
labor legislation and serve as company-wide
resource on compliance and HR
policies/issues.
Develop and implement HR strategy and HR
policies.
Maintain and update Employee Handbook,
detailed job descriptions and corresponding
policies, procedures, and supporting
documentation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date human
resource files, records, and
documentation.
Perform periodic audits of HR files and
records to ensure required documents are
collected and filed appropriately.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree
(or equivalent as determined by qualified
credentials evaluator) in HR/business
administration or an HR related discipline and 1
year of experience in the job offered or related
HR or business/operations management
occupation.
